Another crazy weekend.
Saturday's plan was to go visit granny at the hospital as she underwent an operation the day before. Looks like she's recovering pretty fast and im praying for her full recovery :) Qazim&family came along after which we headed to Arnold's for some fried junkies. Chicken, fries and banana split. yum yum. and as usual we had to queue to get seats. It seems that day was visiting day because we ended up visiting zahidah who was suffering from high fever. However, that did not deter her from sitting in front of the teevee, on disney channel, to watch HANNAH MONTANA'S CONCERT which happened to be shown in 3D. so you gotta wear the 3D specs to enjoy the effects but to me, it looks the same leeeh. HAHAHA. So everyone in the house ended up watching blurred images of the concert. Terrible for the eyes. I only know two songs out of the many she sang, how sad. :(

Sunday, was the ultimate. We organised a surprise birthday party for shuk and despite the hiccups, im proud to say it went well. F4 outing in quite a while. I had my fair share of surprise when i saw the earlybird and immediately gave a warm hug, knowing how much we all missed him. With little time to recover, we quickly headed to find a spot for us to lay the cake and light up the candles in time before shuk arrives. The venue: vivo, open area. ok, before i continue;

Rewind---It all bogged down to a whole lot of chaos before we finally settled down in vivo. I thought the whole, 'let's bake a cake for shuk' was just a passing statement but as the day approaches we sort off wanted it to happen. Me&dee bought ingredients from shengshiong, decided on a choc cake and off we went. The baking period took longer than expected and the design did not turn out the way we wanted it to be. The colourful icing melted because we did cool the cake long enough but thank god, deeyan's mum help out with the finishing touches. But it tasted gooood!! so we're proud of ourselves. hahahha.

ok, so shuk got tricked into thinking that we were in the basement toilet when in actual fact we were frantically trying to get everything in place. And let's say, he's reaction was priceless over the whole thing. Glad you like it!
