As part of bro's post-examination celebration (plus a reason for me to go watch Rain. sigh sigh.), we both went to catch Speed Racer. I remember watching the cartoon a VERY long time ago nevertheless the theme song is still clearly etched in my mind.

The movie was psychedelic. I was kept at the edge of my seat throughout the races- there was not only one, but two major races that was like kabooom(!) to the eyes.
My eyes get a bit shifty due to the kaleidoscope of colours but it adds to the fun. Awesome movie for everyone to watch. I truly enjoyed it.
Apparently, i heard that there will be a mega Mother's Day celebration over at angah's place this sat. I hope the whole kwb gang will be there!
