Say hello to your friendly neighbourhood fireman.

It i was not mistaken, the word fireman came about when the babes and me were planning for acivities to do during our school break. It was like some random thought and sarah was saying she would be the first to volunteer in any case. heh.

Anyways, today, my dear deeyan actually took a day off from work to spend time with me. I had the heaviest craving for rich chocolate so i suggested we go check out the chocolate factory, the finest dining place to get your chocolates! the weather was merciless so we quenched our thirst with a glass of pure iced chocolate which was fantastic, to say the least. Unknown to both of us, it was the start of an adventure. In a nutshell, we walked from clarke quay all the way to bugis. undeniably strong legs we have. Along the way, we stopped by the Central at Clarke Quay, MICA building that had a chinese painting exhibit at that time, Central Fire Station(ok, the main highlight of the day), flea market at SMU where i got a pair of pretty pink heels and lastly, bugis street and bugis junction to cool down after that long and winding road( errrm trip). Remember tha song we learnt in primary school, we had to even use the recorder to blow the tune- Long long ago da da da da da, long long ago, long ago. dee said its suppose to be a sad parting song. i thought it was a lullaby for sleep)? well, we kept humming it all the way, out of context. earworm lah.

How we ended up at the central fire station? We walked past the entrance. saw that it was open, thought 'oh wow! why not just go in?' wrote our names on the piece of paper, a senior fireman asked if it was our first time and we both chanted 'yes!' that was the beginning of it all. Went to every crook and nook to touch and read stuff. both levels and when we finished exploring, the same man bade us goodbye at the exit and he was happy to hear that we enjoyed ourselves. It was my first time okay, for those who went there before, prolly wouldve understood how we felt.

these boots are made for walking

walked&walked looking at prominent buildings to lead us to the right direction.
Shopping spree for the both of us :)

Saturdays are always crazy for me. The whole crazy( fun, exciting!) trip only made up practically half of my day. Tutoring came first, this and then after deeyan left for her AKE performance, chilled down a bit for a cuppa while waiting for parents to fetch me to go to aunts place to see the newborn baby. babies always look so delicate and small to me. such a pretty little thing. After which we went over to Changi Hosp A&E to see cik karim who apparently got involved in an accident. car hit by a heavy vehicle. very lucky to leave unhurt. I hope he's more careful the next time. very scary okaaaaay. Qazim almost got himself in the scene but him feeling lazy and wanted to stay home, got him out of it. Public transport's the way to go now, you boy. heeehee.
Syed-ed after that. no kebab so roti john cheese instead. total miscommunication with the man which left me in tears. aym= ayam, seafood= meat? hmmmm.

the wrecked car. exactly like what you see in the papers.

The night before i spent time with kart in town to have dinner and soak in the nightbuzz. Initially the plan was to visit Naz in kk but since she was fit as a fiddle and was discharged earlier than expected, we both thought we'll drop by her place some other time instead when the busyness dies down.

Practicum postings are out. Well, one week would'nt be that bad, rite?

Gilmore Girls- 'I can kayak, hear me roar'. strong front & independence.
And i realise that my favourite shows both starts with G and G.
