Many years ago someone very close to me taught me the true meaning of independence.
I do not know if the person still remembers but she forced me to stand on my two feet, the hard way no less. The word, the actions which initially i thought were spiteful and blunt.Nevertheless, there was always that touch of care and support like any good friend is. Because of her i became a leader in my very own way, the total opposite of what I was then.

I guess this reflection came about upon me realising how important it is to be able to stickby your own opinions and not let anyone get into you.

After class today, We went on a tour at COTF(classroom of the future) and *gasp gasp* i was so impressed and amazed by what I see there. The latest gadgets and stylized concepts that you use in your learning. We got hold of a mobile device is which is like thrice the size of a PDA which we used to download/upload information. We can transfer info just by a swipe of your hand and get it straight to the main table PC. awesome. We moved from the classroom, science lab, housesetting and even train to see how these technology could be applied in different settings. Definitely an eye-opener on how classrooms of the future could be like.

cookies and cheesecakes after that at the school cafe, mefaezahain(read: dressed in blue) waited for sarahshaheeda to finish their ICT lesson before we set off to watch 27 dresses(!). Yeah, there's mixed reviews about the movie but was overall light-heartening and the seriously-funny bits made me laughoutloud. Hilarious shite!

That would make it two movies in a row since shae made me watch AVP2 with her - she received a tix for answering some questions right during english lesson. My smart sister! Its amazing how she was telling me about signs of teenage angst among her classmates, couples fighting(full of drama), handful of politics and funnie ahbengs. Anyway, the movie was bloodied and i was quite lost throughout most of it. but having smuggled sillymon(cinnamon) and bittersweet donut from munchy donuts saved it all.
