It was a red affair today, literally.
Attended shae's prize-giving ceremony where she received her first in english award.
It was pretty lengthy, like all award ceremonies.

I enjoyed the performances though. I think i have this thing for drums like it brings out then twinkle in me. The beats are like so nice right. It doesnt matter if its your normal drum or the huge cylindrical drums but i like them all. :)


Fusion band. playing beats oh-samba-like complete with the whistles and all. cool stuff. very talented people.



tough boys on the chinese drums. super power co-ordination skills.

The family went for a shopping adventure. We went to check out interesting shops at toa payoh and one of them was this shop selling Toyogo stuff at warehouse prices. You can find almost everything at super super cheap prices. And i got to check out some filing/storage systems that will be very useful when I start teaching later. We bought quite a number of things at our treasure shop today.
