I had a fantastic time in KL.
We adopted the backpackers spirit. We didnt have any bus tickets or hotel booked when we left Singapore.
Because of that, we had to grab tickets which prices were doubled due to the festive period and buses that came two hours late. Ironically there we times We had to run from one place to another due to close timings esp buses. we all could pass off as Amazing Race contestants. it was real fun la coz it was adventurous.

The point that we actually sat at the Malaysian bus depot for two hours making friends at the same time.

the bus that we were waiting for. I do not recall being awake throughout any of the bus rides. heh.

After all that frustration of waiting, it was back to all smiles =)

Upon reaching KL, we went on a food hunt as we were all starving because there was no meal break in between. The bus only stopped once out of the four hour journey. We headed to Petaling Street to shop straight after filling our stomachs to get some good buys. My aunt and uncle have really good bargaining skills which include trying to look uninterested despite a good price or just being plain friendly. It was my first time there and it was such an eye-opener. Tourists everywhere and rows and rows of shops selling stuff. We were caught in the midst of what you would see in Hongkong movies. Men with walkie-talkie trying to escape from the authorities. very drama.
We still waited to get our buys which I am very happy of =)

Bunked in at a hotel that had the last two rooms for the night, very lucky . Cheap rates but great service. It was right in the city so you can imagine the noise in the middle of the night. Taxi horns and people shouting at all times. We were too excited to sleep anyway, so we spent the night out.

Genting Highlands the next day. It was a heart-dropping cable car ride because we were hanging a couple of times, i-dunno-how-many-feet-from- the-ground, due to a drastic change in weather conditions.

nothing beats a little sibling-love.

this could pass off as a dangerous route due to close contact with buses. But this was where we walked everyday. --- pretty boy in yellow sweater alert---

walk to Times Square

Times Square. Super Huge mall with an indoor themepark. As much as I love to try new things, I decided to pass on this one because the rides are super scary. I think its 10 storeys high. People were screaming their heads off.

the roller-coaster of death.

I had dunkin donuts EVERYDAY. Tasted practically every flavour. very addictive siaaaa.
Authentic nasi lemak for breakfast two days in a row specially made by local chefs. it was superb.

I have to add- Jam was terrible from m'sia to singapore
That's the reason why i zonked out the moment we stepped into the house.

can't wait for next holidays =)
