They had their nikah or also known as solemnisation today. It was such a happening event. Everyone were in such high spirits. Both sides of the family were present under one roof, literally.Yeap it was ala bollywood event cause it was so colourful with baju kurungs and sarees in bright,bright colours.I wouldnt be surprised if they had danced to a fast-paced song just like what we would have seen in hindi movies whenever they have a wedding. Our family has gone super multi-racial cause kak yana married an indian man, while her two sisters married a chinese and malay respectively. soo kewl! haha.

ANW, it was an otherwise traditional wedding with exchanging of gifts, food and picture-takings. the most exciting part would be when the guests were awaiting the arrival of the groom. and i have to definitely say that kak yana looked damn gorgeous in both the blue malay outfit as well as the saree.

the KWBs+ cousins had a lot of fun and we even had the opportunity to mingle with our long lost cousin whom qaz has nicknamed yo-yo. lol. dun ask me why. haha. we took tonnes of pictures even on the bride and bridegroom's stand.

I cant wait for the wedding banquet at Mariott on Sunday. Retro theme people? HAHA.
