this is what i have been up to for these two days



i didnt noe working with numbers can be pretty confusing. haha. you start to see digits after some time. really.

Actually ive started work all thanks to dee who recommended me a place as an accounts assistant at Cathay Cineplexes Ptd Ltd under the finance department. Its a really drastic change to teaching. definitely what is significant,There's no kids to deal with, heh. This job involves checking of cashier dockets with all the receipts for credit charges and food purchases, complementary passes etc. pretty kewl stuff.

I REALLY LOVE THE PLACE. seriously. it all starts from the building itself- a full blasting air-conditioned lift (our fav place), bistros and cafe on the first level. nice ambience.the moment you step into the reception area, there is this huge plasma teevee with movie ads that greets you. look around and you will find huge stuff toys relating to movies of course. movie posters and stuff. The people there are friendly and they dress really well. the fun part is thatwe are free to listen to music and make ourselves comfortable as long as we get our stuff done.



anyhows,This was what i had for lunch today. dee's yummy spaghetti is in the background.




we walked to liang court, which was very near to get coffee which dee has been craving for quite some time. and then to this very tiny 7-eleven that had walking space only as wide as my shoulder length.we had to squeeze thru practically everything. anw,our plan is to try as many food places around as possible. heh.

im very sure that we looked like thieves when we tried to retrieve plastics for our wet umbrellas from this 'machine' that is made to dispense plastics for long, stick umbrellas. despite a first failed attempt, being me, i meddled with the dispenser and the next thing i knew we were pulling the plastic out of the dispenser. thankfully the security guard was distracted otherwise we would have been caught. haha.
