madness

Life has been total madness. This is so especially since I have to take 5 straight days of lessons for the same teacher. Its the times when they are the few who get on my nerves despite me making the most effort to calm them down. hmph. But the class is wonderful. they are the nicest bunch of kids. The worst thing was actually the constant input of new tasks. I had to do admin stuff within a certain period of time. have to rush from lesson to lesson, mark the books. never-ending.

The first task was to actually collect their health booklets. Like out of all the days and months, why this particular week? even this teacher was grumbling cause she said it is the most difficult tasks of all tasks- u gotta have the parents tear some info sheets out of this booklet, fill them up, attach it to their health booklets and hand them up. Problems you would face would include students forgetting where they put their booklets/ papers/ parents didnt fill up the sheets/ worst still, they lost their health booklets so you gotta make arrangements to buy them from the office. Thirty booklets in all so imagine all the fuss.

I had to grade the students for thier oral and conversations. Like omg. I tink i have been damn generous with the marks. the kids betta thank me. haha. I had to let them talk about their favourite hobbies or their favourite food. So adorable. They talked about reading books on princesses, comics, fried chicken and all. it was super fun lah.

Also had to brief the kids about the pyjama party. Kept reminding about wat they had to wear and what they had to bring

'Wat do u have to wear to school on friday?'

" PE ATTIRE", they all screamed.

"Then what do you have to bring?"

"PYJAMAS", they all screamed again.

I was thinking great great. they got it. until i asked this boy again. so wat do you have to wear to school?
he replied: pyjamas

Uh oh.

I asked him to repeat and repeat again what he has to wear and bring. I tink he got it by now. =p

We had a fire-drill exercise during one of the days. The kids were incredibly excited about it and when the time came, they were great. they did exactly what i told them to, in an orderly manner. I love them lah.

I feel so touched cause the kids give me these little little cards and drawings to tell me that they love me . so sweet. hurhur.

I cant wait for the pyjama party tomorrow! lotsa food and finding nemo :)
